21/7 freeday, meet a friend in Prague

Today is the free day, so I went out with my friend who stayed in Prague for two months. Originally, our meeting time was 11:00 a.m., but when I was taking the metro, I saw her came in the metro. Both of us were very surprised, it was too coincidental. First, we went to the tourist center near the old town square to take a map. Then, we went to a big supermarket to buy something. Originally, I would like to buy some cup noodle, but my friend told me there was no such thing in Prague. Also, my friend asked me to buy some sausage, which was a common food for the people. People may eat sausage and drink a bear for a meal. After that, we went to a park in order to take the tram to go on to the hill. The tram road was very special. Most of it was one-way road, but at the middle the road will split into two semi-circle and turn into a two-way road. This design seems saved some resource. On the hill, there was a tower. It is about 10 floors high. When I want to buy the ticket, the counter was closed. After 15 minutes, the counter was opened again. Then, it seems that the reason for closing the counter was a man found that there was a problem it his charge. Then, the staffs closed the counter and counted all of the money again. I think the situation would not happen in Hong Kong. When facing the same problem, I think the staff would not close the counter, they would ask other staff to follow the case, because in Hong Kong every thing should be efficient. Finally, I could buy the ticket and get into the tower. It is really hard to walk up stair onto the top of the tower, but it was worth to do so. The view on the top of the tower was wonderful, I could see the whole view of Prague, which was wider than that I saw in the castle.

Then, I went back to the ground and then we walk around the hill, there were some steles and each one had a picture on it. My friend told me that there were about 16 steles. All of pictures are about the death of Jesus Christ, from judging him to put him to death. After that, we went to a café to have our lunch, I had eaten chicken and potatoes, the taste was very good. Then, we took the tram to the old castle. However, this castle was destroyed. Now, there was a park and a church. Also, some people wanted to rebuild the castle, but they repaired some the outer walls. Then, I said good-bye to my friend and went back to dorm. When I went back to the dorm, I saw many of my classmates and Dr. Cristaudo was in the lobby. Then, Karin told me that they would go to Charles Bridge and I joined them. After taking off the tram, I saw my German classmate, she was doing internship in Austria, but she came to Prague for her Holiday. When we walked on the Bridge, we could see that there was firework show. The beauty of the Prague and the colorful light of the firework, the atmosphere was really nice. Then, we took photos with the castle as the background.
