Today we had a guided tour in the afternoon. Through the tour guide, I know more about history of Prague. The old town original was built on a low land, but when people created more and more rubbish. The rubbish was accumulated and used to create new lands. This is unbelievable. Also, the old town was just a forest and the living place for Jews. Later, the Jews were expelled. Under the rule of Communist, the housing in the old town was decayed and so the prize of it was cheap. Therefore, slums were appeared here. Later, there was a flooding, many houses destroyed. The old town was rebuilt, but some of the buildings were kept, such as churches and city hall. Czech Republic left Russia’s control, their economy and living standard was grown. This is an example shows that Communist idea was not practical. Then, we went to the Charles Bridge, which was built by Charles IV, the sculptures here are came from Rome. I think it is because the Prague was the capital of Holy Roman Empire. Then we also went to the castle of Maria Theresa, who was the queen of Austria. The castle was of a hill, when we arrived, we can have a view of the whole Prague. In the castle, we just went to the church and it is very huge and beautiful. We walk around the castle that is very big.

At the night, we went to a restaurant to have a traditional Czech dish, the roasted duck. The taste of the duck is good.
