13/7 Wittenberg and travel to Prague

Today in the early morning, we get on the bus and travel to the next city, Prague, the capital of Czech Republic. However, before we left Germany and went into Prague, we went to one more German city, Wittenberg. Wittenberg is just a very small city, but the most important point is that here has the Martin Luther museum.

Martin Luther is a great religion reformer. He wrote openly to criticize the corruption of the churches. However, at that time, the power of church is so great, criticize church is a dangerous action. Martin Luther was hatred by the churches. Then, in his life, he was facing great challenges from the churches, but he insisted his faith and keep on struggle, his spirit was admired. He also contributed in translating the Latin bible into German. This was a huge and difficult job, but Martin Luther contributed half of his life on this job. After this job finished, Christianity was more widespread in Europe. In the museum, I could have a sight on the manuscript of Martin Luther for translating the Bible. This made me excited, because I seem reading the document that is very important in the development of history. Then, we got on the bus again and keep on the way to Prague. On the way, I discovered that the guideboard in Germany shows the distance remaining to some places. However, the guideboard will not show the remained distance, so it is hard to predict that how much travel is needed to arrive that place. In Prague, our driver went to a wrong place, therefore, we arrived the dorm later than expected. At night, we went to a Chinese restaurant to have our dinner, the taste of the food is quite good.
